Hello,
I get this error every time I close Videora 4.0.2
"This program requires a missing Windows component
This program requires flash.ocx, which is no longer included in this version of Windows"
I run Vista x64 by the way. 8gb ram.

please help, this is so frustrating.
I have rebooted, reinstalled flash player (activeX + firefox version), reinstalled Videora, disabled UAC, run as Administrator, etc nothing is working. SOOOO annoying this message.

yes I have already tried the post over on the HP forums. They suggest copying and renaming your flash9 or flash10.ocx to just "flash.ocx" and putting it in System32\Macromed\Flash but I tried it and it didn't work for me.

HELP!!!

Well I was hoping to see this issue fixed in v4.04 but alas, it is still a problem. :(

since nobody responded, I just thought I'd post the latest news, as of v4.0.5 (including 4.0.6) this no longer seems to be an issue. At least, it was working on my system. cheers :)

Hello, I get this same message, and a message about "videoinfo has stopped working." Up until today, the program still worked, but today it won't convert videos for ipod anymore. Is there a fix for this? By the way, I also am running Vista 64-bit

Same symptoms for me. Fresh install of Vista Ultimate 64, SP1 applied plus all MS updates. Have copied and renamed flashXX.ocx to flash.ocx and placed in several windows, system32, etc etc folders. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and Videora, including manual review and clean up of registry for flash.ocx entries. Running 4.0.6 of Videora. Videos convert fine, just annoying that the error message pops up every time.

Just an update, I'm still getting the error, but I find if I immediately press "cancel" when the error comes up, I can still convert videos. It doesn't solve the problem, but at least I'm back to being able to convert.

I can't help but wonder if tis has anything to do with the fact that you can't install Flash in IE x64. Could be an error that you get with a x64 OS. It makes me angry 'cause I can't run a program at all because of this error.

I also have an issue. I don't know whether to post my own thread, but I I just downloaded this program for my new laptop that runs vista ultimate 64, and I come up with the error 100326: file cannot be opened, and I don't know what to do cause it works fine with my regualr computer running xp

I get "VideoInfo has stopped working" error each time I convert a new video, in addition to the Windows error at the close of program. I, too, run Windows Vista Home 64.

I've tried the fix offered in the other thread, but it's not working for me. :/ http://www.redkawa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40916&highlight=VideoInfo&page=2

Regarding the thread at http://www.redkawa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41112 I found that the installer for the 64-bit version of mediainfo.dll wasn't actually installing anything (at least, not under Windows 7), and that it was necessary to download the "WithoutInstaller" version, and to extract mediainfo.dll (using 7zip) and manually copy it to the appropriate folder. This eliminates the "VideoInfo has stopped working" error. As for the later flash.ocx error, so far, this seems inconsequential.
