MKV Passthrough

What happened to the MKV passthrough option? That was the main reason I used the Xbox360 converter. It would be a real shame if you couldn't do that with the new version.

The "MKV Passthough" feature is currently not available in version 4. This new version was long over due and to get it out as soon as possible, we did have to drop a few things.

The only way to use that functionality is to keep using the older version 2 of the software.

We do plan on adding this feature back into version 4 eventually. If you wish to see this functionality sooner rather than later, please post a reply to this thread so we can gauge the interest on this feature.

MKV Passthrough is the main feature I use in the xbox converter. Please add it to version 4.

I beg of you, please add mkv passthru in the new version. I use it on a daily basis in 2.5. I love how efficient 4.04 is at converting hd files to mp4 for my 360, but i can't use it because i need the mkv passthru as well. I am starting to have problems with 2.5 and 1080p mp4s not working well on the 360. Can you all please fix 4.04 for us vista 64 bit users (i miss the old interface so much).

Without videora 360, I would have no real means to watch all my videos on my TV, please fix 4.04 soon.

Removing a feature is just stupid. I realize this is free, but really, c'mon. The new program is worthless without the ability to use mkv passthrough.

Update: Great, not only is this feature removed in the new version, there is no easy way to download the old one from the download page. That's awesome, really, thanks, I appreciate that..

Arrrgh.. After hearing about this famed mkv passthrough I downloaded and installed Videora. Really wish this feature was there. Now I have to go hunt down an old outdated version I guess.

Yeah, this was the most important feature in the product...it took me forever to find a product that could do MKV Passthrough and now I've lost it. Just rebuilt my system and went to re-download/install only to find this lovely surprise. Can you at least make the old version available until its restored to the new version.

I completely understand that, however I would appreciate a link to the older version because my only interest in utilizing this program is the conversion of mkv files for use on the 360.

Were this feature to return, I would gladly donate money to have this feature. I have considered purchasing a WD TV just to avoid having to re-encode all my mkv files and have been searching endlessly for free software for MAC that would enable me to do this.

Please please I beg of you allow us to download the old version or add support for it again in an upcoming release.
