I've followed all the steps pertaining to converting the dvd to iphone both in normal and power modes. My problem is that the file continues to convert despite surpassing the expected file size. The display says 99% done but the time remaining reaches zero and the file swells until you manually stop it in task manager.

I've converted ipod videos before with the software and it works. But with the iphone convertor I have a problem. Any suggestions. I have tried to log the console but when I copy it, I get a handling error and it shuts down.

It finally worked. Strangely enough the expected length of the file was 450,000 kb. But the actual was 900,000 kb. It exceeded the time estimate by over an hour. I just let it go to completion overnight and clicked the shutdown after completion and the computer turned off. Thanks for an awesome product. The movie is crystal clear... makes me want to cry...

I converted about 5 videos with no problem. Now I can't convert a single one. I stopped the last one when it was on frame 119017 of 102337 frames, or alternatively it had been converting for 1:12:40 on a 1:08:13.480 video. Friendlie says that he just lets it run for double time. Is that the solution? Why did my videos work OK at first, now they don't? I loved this product when I first tried it, now I'm baffled.

If you stopped it before it was done, then you stopped it. If you hadn't, it would have finished. I don't have the time to reiterate the various methods of timestamping DVD video... which are read accurately by ViC and which aren't. The problem is well known and well documented here. Thanks for reading.

Last night I had time to run it again, and it eventually worked when I let it go for double time. I'll look up Midiman's old posts to get an idea of what's going on (I didn't realise that this had been dealt with elsewhere). Thanks for your help, this forum is very useful.
