Hi,

Has anyone had trouble starting up the new PSP or PS3 Video Converter (V4.04)? Each time I load up it comes up with an Initial Setup window which produces the attached error window:

An error has occured in the script on this page.

Line: 67
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0
URL: http://www.redkawa.com/software/videoconverter4.psp/firstrun/index.php

I have Windows XP SP3, IE8 V8.0.6001.18241.

Is there a way to skip the Initial Setup web-interface and just use the old way of doing things? E.g. drop-down menus (which appears very briefly before loading up the web-gui).

Cheers,

Chris

That doesn't work for me, in fact disabling the debug options does not work either.

I'm having this problem with version 4.07 on Windows XP SP3. I have Internet Explorer 8 btw. Did anybody else have this problem?

What I ended up doing and it work was getting the HTTP address from the debuger "http://www.redkawa.com/software/videoconverter4/ps3/firstrun/index.php" then pasting it IE8 and press enter the page was not loading and I saw to the left of the refresh button on IE a run in Compatibility mode (the icon looks like a broke page) then i click on that and waiting for the page to open up then I re iopen PS3 Video and it worked.

Update: I do notice it takes a very long time within PS3 Video Converter to open pages :(

I might have to downgrade to IE7
