I have a tuner card on my computer...I can receive non-digital channels on my computer...when I record shows (like on TNT, ABC, NBC, etc.) the converter has no problem.
I recently connected my cable box to my computer so I can watch channels that need the cable box for...I recorded movies on HBO, Encore, and Starz, but when I try to convert these movies, it does not convert. I checked the properties of the file (via Windows Explorer), and clicked on the Details Tab, and see that there is a field labeled "TV Network Affiliation" and see that field equals PAY (see attachment).
Does this converter not have the ability to convert pay cable channels?
