I've converted several different videos using wii video 9 and my wii always says the video is not supported. What am I doing wrong?
I have run into the same problem. I have found that some XVid movies will convert to mjpeg via wii video 9, or ffmpeg, or mencoder. They will play back correctly on everything but the wii. Any one have any ideas?

I'm am having the same problem. I've tried all the different options and it still doesn't work. I've even tried to install an older version and that didn't work. I've installed and uninstalled all the different codecs like divx, xvid, k-lite, vlc, etc...I've tried to convert without any codecs installed to all to various. Nothing. I've read through all of the forums and googled any other post on web to see if any1 else had an luck and tried what they recommended. Nothing. I'm trying to convert TV episode's that I downloaded off the web. The Wii recognizes the files that I've converted but says it doesn't support this file. They are avi files that I believe are created with divx or xvid codecs. Anyone out there have any suggestions that work. I've probably wasted way too much time on this for the end result. Does anyone from Red Kawa even check these forum post??? HELP

I have the exact same problem. Is this program (Wii Video 9) even working for anybody? I didn't find anything about it, just this same promotional text about how easy is to convert movies for wii... not really. This app is garbage, no support at all, nothing working.

Sorry dude, you won't get your answer. I'm waiting for a month and nothing. I even asked support.. nothing. The problem is that I (and you and many others) didn't do anything wrong, you basicly can't do anything wrong so I have no idea how to fix it.
So, my opinion is that this company is bad one since they are not able to write a sentence in a month.
I already moved on.

I read somewhere that the Wii will only play videos with a max lenght of 25min. If this is true that all of these converters are misleading when they say you can play movies. What's the good of 25min video!!

Damn, this is not promising then! I am in the same boat, doing everything right with zero results, waste of money buying an SD card and reader and even bigger waste of time trying to find info and convert files. Am now streaming movies from my computer via Orb but that is also far from ideal. Back to burning DVD's. Boo
