hello i am able 2 download pictures 2 my ps3 from my pc but an not able for mp4's whats wrong! it says please insert usb storage device! please someone help me!!!

Where did the mp4's come from, PS3 Video 9 or elsewhere? PS3 accepts MPEG-4 SP (AAC LC) H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Main Profile (AAC LC).

The notice to insert usb storage device means the PS3 doesn't like what you're asking it to save but is willing to pass it on through to an external media like a CD or memory stick.

Well some of the videos are from my psp some are downloaded (.mp4). Also if i manually download them (USB) it works? And to your question some of my mp4s are pspvideo9 and some are downloaded which i dunno what program made them...
but for some of the files i downloaded they work like for example they have names "Family Guy 01x01 - Death Has A Shadow" and others that i made(using pspvideo9) dont they also have file names like "run_it" or "M4V1000"

as a side not not all of the files download work says not supported!
