Hello everyone,
I think the idea of this application is great, though I'm yet to be proved right. So far most of the videos I've converted won't play on the Wii. I keep getting the error message:
"Video format is not supported by the Wii, see Wii operations manual, blah blah blah".
The first video I converted was a 20min AVI, one that would fit on the 1GB SD card I had, before I invested in a 2GB card. This worked great, so I picked up a cheap 2GB card.
Everything else I've tried to convert (40min Xvid/DivX) has given me the error above. Arrrrgh
From looking through the other threads I've tried the following:
- fixing the Output Resoltion/FPS
- Converting the AVI to something else first (e.g. MPEG, then to MJPEG)
To check it's not my card/PC (Original conversion was done on another laptop) I've reconverted the original 20min clip and used the new card - this works fine.
This is really starting to get on my t*ts, has anyone got any advise, please speak to me. :(
