Need Help

can somebody really break down the steps for me on how to use this file server to send files to my ps3.

i dont know what to do on my ps3 as far as connecting to my computer

and once i connect using my ps3, how do i send the files from my computer to my ps3

Enter the URL given by the File Server application into the browser of your PS3 (ex: http://192.168.0.104:8192).

Then make sure there's a folder on your computer that is "shared" - see here:

You have to have both your PS3 and your PC on the same subnet (your home network).

Can't get PS3 (or any other PC on the same subnet) to access server. Works OK on same PC as server. PS3 browser works OK on internet and subnet (except Red Kawa server). Got to believe I have not installed server correctly (downloaded and setup twice), or incorrect settings, which are at default with only c:\document and settings? Anybody have any ideas what the problem is. Read all the formum entries to check I appear to be doing everything right. All PC's and PS3 give error "currently unavailable"

Me I mean. I had the url wrong for the server. Now works like a dream!!!!

I am a newbie at all this so spare my blushes - many many thanks for this software. Will certainly make a donation and tell others about it.
