My firmware is 3.73

While trying to move a video from PSP Video's 9 Library to my PSP something went wrong and screwed my 4GB Card...now when I go to the Videos menu on my psp there is a "Corrupted File" icon, I tried erasing the file, formating the drive on the PSP, on Windows XP even on my Digital Camera but all I get is "Formatting error" I Can't even create a new folder inside the memory stick anymore.
Every Time I go to the Memory stick folder and "delete" the file (it dissapears from the folder) when I go to the same folder again the file reappears from the nothing. iT says 0 kb meaning the It's not using any space from my memory stick but it doesn't let me upload anything.
By the way the memory stick is original I bought it from radioshack.
I tried looking everywhere for answers but I still can't find them =/. Is my memory stick dead? or there is a way to format it?

Hi, I'm having similar problems, my PSP says there is no memory card, even after I have reformatted it on PSP, and done a Scan Disk on PC. This is only happening with DVD's that have been ripped, then they show as corrupt data.:(

At least your PC seem to do Scan Disk on your card... maybe you are going to be able to use that card in a Digital Camera or something else... but in my case I feel like if I just lost 60 dollars in a cheap piece of plastic...

Well, least you're able to see the contents... i had a 512mb card that cannot be seen at all but then again it was time for it to kick the bucket anyways since i've had it since the first PSP was launched. Unfortunatly flash memory can go bad after so many read/writes before it is rendered useless. Under normal use it should be a while before it breaks but then again, maybe you got unlucky and got one that didn't last long. If your memory stick is still under warrenty, you might beable to get it replaced.
