I'm new to this and was looking for some help.

I'm looking at converting some DVD's to watch on my iPhone (when I travel) and possibly on my TV (my DVD player died). My question is when converting to use on the iPhone, is there a big difference between Basic, Med, High and Best (using normal mode) while watching on the iPhone?

For my TV, I still have an old 36 inch (not HD) but will be purchasing an HD in the next few months. Same question, what quality to select?

I see in Power Mode there are a number of settings. Is there a listing somewhere that tells me the difference of these options? I see many references to them but cannot find something that tells me the differences between each option.

I'm guessing the Basic, Med, High and Best (using Normal mode) match up to one of the settings in Power Mode. Is that correct and is that information available to review?

Thank you

Shawn

Quality is pretty much going to be defined by bitrate. If you plan to use an external display, you'll also want a higher resolution. I'd go with at least a 640 pixel wide resolution and a bitrate of about 1500kbps. I can't help you out with normal mode.
