help with .avi files!!

I used videora for a long time last year with no problems, but now it won't let me convert any of my avi files. It always says video cannot be created in the specified directory. My videos are on my desktop, and heres an example of a file name: kim_kardashian_video_completo.avi

I know i'm probabley not being specific enough, so if you need more information just let me know!
