Hi peeps,
Firstly, i'd like to thank whoever is responsible for the xbox360 converter. It is most certainly very good, and very easy to both use and setup. I do, however, have a small issue with .avi files.
Im using transcode 360 (latest version) to allow me to play a variety of HD formats. Ive been using videora to convert my .mkv files into almost perfect conversions to watch on my HDTV through the xbox360.
All is well when converting the HD stuff, but when i convert an .avi file (mostly divx, xvid etc) It comes out cropped in a 4:3 aspect ratio (vertical black bars on the left and right of the screen and has squashed the image somewhat) when played on my HDTV through the xbox.
I play the converted .avi's on my pc and they play fine in the widescreen format, but not when i stream them to the xbox. Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there some option/switch i can use to keep the widescreen 16:9 format? Many thanks for any replies you may have.
