I use Windows Vista Home Premium on my laptop (32 bit version, I think). Norton Internet 360 is installed and running on my laptop.
I want to intall the iphone 3GS converter
I have tried both downloading to save or direct installation (RUN). In both cases telling Vista it's OK to download from the site. The installation or save proceeds OK to 99%, and then Internet Explorer freezes.
How do I get it to install?

try to install another IPod converter from this site (all the files are almost identical). You will just have to change the default settings from xxx to iPhone 3GS. But most likely you are missing some files in your Windows directory...

Thanks. May be moot as I have now managed to get DVD Decrypter and Handbrake working. Still I'll give it a go later on in the week when our visitors have gone.

Was able to install it (not an update over a previous version) with XP Home Premium 32 bit and Firefox. Firefox or IE should not matter. Is it a fresh install or an update over a previous version.

Perhaps I should clarify. The failure seems not to be at installation, but at download, which stalls at 99%, and the only way out of it seems to be reset of my computer (press and hold power button). Task manager doesn't seem able to abort it.

I downloaded the file (saving the file first ) and install (using Run) and with the following link:
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPhone-3GS/download.php.
P.S. If it still does not work, it might be an issue with Admin Rights (but I have no clue: I am still using XP).

I have now tried to download and save almost every one of the iphone/ipod converters. All fail with the download at 99%, and yes, I have made sure I am acting as Administrator. I'm giving the whole thing up, as I can do what I want do using Handbrake/DVD Decrypter.
Life's too short ... but thanks, anyway.
