I've noticed some slight audio problems with Videos after converting them with Videora. I dunno if the videos were already bad, or if converting them caused it...does anyone know if Videora possibly causes the sound to be off with the image (i.e. someone's mouth moves, but their voice doesn't come until a second or so later).
If this is a problem with Videora, what's wrong? Should I change some settings or what?

Could one of you post a console log please?

To generate a console log, please follow these steps.
1. Click on the "Console" tab and check the "Enable Console" box.
2. Start encoding the video that failed as you normally would.
3. Cancel the conversion after ~10 seconds by clicking the "Abort" button.
4. Go back to the "Console" tab
5. Copy the console log up until the lines where it starts saying "frame=..."

Please do not make multiple unecessary posts. They will just be deleted.

Also, It's pretty clear that you are using version 0.91 of Videora iPod Converter. This forum is only for discussing the newer versions (2.x) of Videora iPod Converter.

If you want to talk/ask questions about the old version, use the old forums:

I didn't feel my problem should constitute another thread being made since it does in fact have to do with audio.

The problem I have is the sound is altered in a bad way; the audio is all crackly like the volume is set too high or something happened during encoding. I'm not sure if it has to do with the file size of the AVI (5.5 GBs) or the choice of lossless video codec (Huffyuv) but it couldn't be the audio's format because it's in WAV format. The video before conversion sounds good but after conversion that's when the sound gets crackly and I was wondering what you, the developers, could suggest.

Other than this problem, everything works the way I would want it to and I'm grateful for all your work.

There is more than one type of audio issue. The original post focuses on a A/V-sync problem while yours addresses audio quality. Chances are very high that it will require different solutions.

Please post a console log of your conversion in a new thread please.

I am having the same problem with my audio. The audio and the film are in sync for about 10 or 15 minutes, but then all of the sudden the get out of sync all throught out the rest of the movie. I have the new version (2.6) and if any one knows how to fix the problem, that would be huge. Thanks .

If it's a DVD, you may want to add the DVDShrink step as shown in MaxSterling 0.91 guide.

If it's a movie file, you should consider using an AVISynth script with fps/convertfps parameters. Details are in this forum's FAQ sticky thread.
