I can't figure out how to use the Videora Tivo Converter which I've downloaded and can't find any information on the web site. Even the forums don't mention anything about a Tivo converter.

Where can I find help on this? I'm trying to convert an .flv file to .tivo, but there are no instructions on how to do this with this converter.

Thanks.

Mike

Videora seems to use DirectShow filters, so I would say that you need a flv splitter, which can be found here (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/FLV_Splitter).

Sorry to bother you, but I'm really not great at this. I went to the site but I'm not sure what to do. Where do I download the flv splitter to? What directory must it be in to work with Videora? The directions for the Videora Tivo converter are non-existent.

The site also talks about an flv decoder. Do I need that as well? I can play already flv files that I've downloaded from the web on my free Real Player with no problem. Does that mean I've already got an flv decoder?

No, you need not download FLV decoder, you just need a converter which can be convert FLV to Tivo format, do not worry, i will help you to search on the line and tell your good news as soon as possible.

Hey out there,
I had Videora's Tivo converter a few years ago and it worked fine. In the mean time i've lost a few hard drives and can't find where to download it now. Can anyone tell me where i can download it currently?
THanks, Ralph

I use Pavtube for coverting TiVo videos for my iPad. It works very well and I haven't really had any problems. Conversion speed seems fine and the videos look good on the iPad. I saw Pavtube mentioned in the TiVo forums as a good way to convert for the iPad so I decided to try it. It's much better than TiVo's converter. TiVo's converters for mobile devices are terrible.

I am using Aunsoft Video Cnverter to make deal with my TiVo video files. It is the fastest tool to help me to convert tivo recordings to other playable and editable video formats, like AVI, WMV, MPEG, FLV, MOV, MKV and etc.
