Hello I am using PSP vid 9 version 5.02
When I try to create a new profile or edit an existing one I get the following error
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Qit, the application will close immediately.

I have the same problem with the same error message.
Vista 32 administrator, V5.02 with the XULRUNNER directory copied so it will run.

Version 5.03 has now been released. That error message should no longer occur. Please let us know if you see the error or if everything is fixed.

I have windows 7 64 bit version.

The 5.00 version from the link above works fine, so not sure what the difference is between releases ...

I get this error with any version above 4.. on all windows OS's.
You can manually edit profiles.
Goto the profiles folder in the program folder.
Select a device profile copy it somewhere as a backup.
edit it and save.
then copy that profile into "users\appdata\"user name here"\appdata\roaming\Red Kawa\profiles\" aswell
i did this in WIN7

I have this same problem with version 6.00 on Windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit with completely different hardware configurations. Changing compatibility mode to XP SP3 and running as an administrator has no effect
This isn't something to complain to Microsoft about; the developer of PSP Video 9 is responsible for the bad coding that causes this crash.
I'm sure it doesn't help that this software is also bloated with advertisements and making money is in higher regard than making a good program.

I have to agree with that. I have the same exact problem and seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem but no fix. If you search Unhandled exception in the forum you will see this problem existed since 2007 and still no fix.

Feb 2011 and still no fix or workaround? I put procmon on and tried to determine what is failing but I cannot find that needle in this haystack. At this point I am looking for recommendations for other products.
