Multiple Processor Stream support?

I was wondering is the program optimized for multiple core and hyperthreading systems?

If not, this would be a great feature and would increase encoding time.

P.S. Seeing as the base of the program is ffmpeg I guess it would depend on that wouldn't it...
hmm maybe you could incorporate the x246 program (http://x264.nl) that I know supports multiple processor threads. That would only speed up H.264 though.*shrugs* idk just a thought.
