I'm having trouble getting PSP Video 9 to convert my XVID files and maintain the original aspect ration. I have a video that is 512x384 (4:3), however when I convert it the resulting file is always stretched to the PSP's 480x272. I'd like to keep it at the original aspect ratio, so it's displayed with the black bars at the sides - is there a way for PSP Video 9 to do this automatically? If I specify within the profile to use the "Original" width, height, and aspect ratio, the resulting file is an "Unsupported Data Type" on the PSP. When I used Videora iPod converter for my iPod, it would automatically letter box any files that required it for my iPod display, so I'd like PSP Video to do the same. Or do I just need to calculate and specify manually the proper resolution? In other words, set the width and height manually for every video, which would be roughly 353x272 in this case. Does enabling "AutoResize" make a difference one way or another?

Just use the video wizard and select square it will then play (4:3) on PSP
