Affected Software:
Videora iPod Converter
Videora Apple TV Converter
Release Notes:
We made some updates to the Add to iTunes feature. If Videora iPod Converter is unable to add your video to iTunes, it will now report this problem in the form of a Message Box. In the older versions, Videora iPod Converter would not report this properly and you would only know if it failed when you looked in iTunes and the video was nowhere to be found.
Please note that if you are converting a number of files in a queue and one of these files fails to be added to iTunes, the message box will pop up and the rest of the files in your queue will not convert until you press ok. You can prevent this from occurring by turning of the “automatically add converted videos to iTunes feature.
The VideoWizard feature and Help files are still in the early stages of development. The rest of the updates are just small bug fixes. Also we’ve changed the default profile to QVGA H.264 instead of VGA as we feel the majority of people are not watching their video’s on their TV/Computer and don’t require the extra resolution.
If you are using an AVS script to generate MPEG-4 files, you must change the framerate in your AVS script (using ChangeFPS). Otherwise the videos will not encode and you will see an mpeg-4 timebase error in the console log.
Upgrade Notes:
There is no upgrade available so you will have to download the full installer. The full installer will overwrite your old version so you will loose all your old settings and profiles unless you back these up first.
