Im trying to convert small video files which i took with my digital camera. The files can be played in windows media file but when they are converted there is only sound and no video so when I add them to Itunes they come up as songs and not videos.

Hey Tom,
What decrypting program or program for uploading your pictures/videos onto your computer did you use? It may simply be that you have only chosen to convert the sound file to your video if you didn't specify in your decrypting/uploading program that you DON'T want file splitting to occur. If this is the case and the subsequent cause of the problem then you need to enter the settings menu of your decrypting/uploading program and ensure that file splitting is disabled or in the case of "DVD Decrypter" "None" is selected for the file splitting option. Other programs such as DVD shrink use terms such as "file chunking: 1GB size recommended size chunks" if using a program such as this you need to de-select this option.

I might be on the wrong track but i hope this helps if this is the problem.

im having the same problems!! i know nothing about computers, just your basic "clicking" and hoping to figure things out on my own!! im not illiterate! i ensured that file splitting was disabled and i decrypted the same dvd three times hoping for a different result. each time i am still getting audio only!! is there anything else i can do? i am using the decrypter off the videora website and followed the instructions. the screenshot of the ipod converter is different from the one i downloaded. could that be a problem? PPPLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE HELP!! new video ipod that i am dying to play with!!!

charity: As yours is a DVD rip, this may be a different problem with the same symptoms. Could you start a new thread please?

Charity,

Don't stress if the picture of your instructions is different to the videora program version 2.06 you are using which is obviously meant to match. I downloaded version 2.06 as well as the instructions and the pictures didn't correspond with the program either which the software developers should acknowledge. However i still managed two navigate through the program (videora) and have both picture and sound. Consequently I can allmost 100% guarentee that this is NOT the problem you are having.

I would advise attaching a console log as Sketch suggested so he can work his magic. He was very helpful in assisting my queries. At least now you can rule out the program/instruction mis-match issue as a factor contributing to the problem.

Tom: that looks like a console log from 0.91; this forum is only for the version 2 bets. Try an H.264 profile. If that doesn't work, please post a topic here: http://www.pspvideo9.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=18
