The "No videos in folder" problem

I have a PSP version 3.80, I read every possible tutorial that should help me be able to view videos, but all told me to make this so called MP_ROOT folder in my card. The thing is, it never worked no matter how hard i tried. I got it to work tho sooo, anyone with the same problem should give this a try: not in the PSP folder, create a new folder named VIDEO set the PSP Video 9 Defaults to that folder as well so it would transfer into that folder. I guess this is the only folder my psp reads for videos, maybe yours will too.

It'll explain why you would put it in one or the other.
