1.1 Changelog:
Fixed: PSP Filesystem Slashes
Fixed: Ampersand in path/filename
Workaround: Files with spaces
Upgrade Notes:
There is no upgrade installer, you must download the full installer and install it over your current version. This WILL overwrite your current settings. If you want to avoid re-inputting all your authorized directories, please backup your settings file (C:\Program Files\Red Kawa\File Server\core\settings.txt) before you run the install and replace it after.
Release Notes:
As many of you have quickly found out, files with spaces would not download properly (in version 1.0) to the PS3 as they were named incorrectly. This was a bug in the File Server, as the downloads didn't even work in Firefox. However, when we fixed the bug correctly (confirmed in Firefox), downloads still did not work in the PS3 browser. This is likely due to a bug in the PS3 Web Browser. We tried many ways trying to get files with spaces to work but the PS3 browser just wouldn't play nice.
So while we cannot fix this problem, we have created a work around. When filenames with spaces are downloaded from your PC, the software will automatically replace the spaces with underscores which downloads fine to the PS3.
Example: "this is my video.mp4" will download to "this_is_my_video.mp4"
This workaround means you don't have to change any filenames on your PC. Also the file server doesn't touch the filenames on your PC either.
