i have da answer 2 why page wont display on ps3

its becuz of the windows firewall i had the same problem. when i would activate the media center and the server i would get a prompt from my windows asking to unblock and i kept putting ask later there for it was not working on my ps3. close both programs and reopen each one by one disabling the block by chosing unblock. now the page should display on us ps3. and to download from anywhere on ur harddrive just change the settings from c:\documentsandsettings 2 c:\ and ull have the whole drive 2 dl from without having to move any files. example i have 2 drives so my settings r at c:\ and d:\ which lets me download all my mp3s to my ps3 from the d:\ and it only takes like 2 secs with my cable internet per song. awesome.

now i dont need to go out and by a bigger hard drive like i was gonna do:)

i still cant stream any videos and i converted them to the flv file like it said if any one figures it out let me know

Glad you were able to get it to work. I've never had an issue with Windows Firewall. It's activated but has never blocked my requests from the LAN. Odd how it varies from PC to PC.
I've not been able to stream flv files either and based on other postings that it isn't working. Did not understand your comment about not needing to buy an external drive now. Since you have to actually copy the files over to play them, you're using up storage space on your PS3 aren't you? Or are you copying over each time you want to play them?
