audio not in sync

since i've installed the newer versions i have not been able to get the audio and video to sync. the audio lags behind, sometimes a full 5 seconds. most of the time it's just a second off causing "lip flap". what am i doing wrong as the older version worked fine for me.

Try adding -async 1 to the Additionnal CLI Parameters in the Audio Tab of a profile.

That didn't work for me but that strategy used to work for the 0.91 version. Would it work if you put it in the video tab?

It should be put in the video tab. Though it doesn't always work.

Try using an AVISynth Profile, too. That fixes some of these issues.
