View Full Version : Still Having Audio Sync Problems!

Hello, you may know me as LiQuiD_FuSioN in the past (for some reason Hotmail is blocking my activation email), but anyway, I left off at trying to sync my audio.

I tried a lot of the things you said, only today did I visit the Videora forums again and saw that there were some changes! New proggy and new forum, eh? I saw that my iPod Videora was 0.8? and there was a new version out that was 2.07, so I nabbed it quickly.

Okay, enough small talk - I'm still back trying to figure out a way to sync up my audio! I tried converting the MPEG file alone without using the Avisynth (sp?) thing, but it didn't work. I'll try again with it next time though.

My last question is, is there anything else I need to know about the new Videora versions? Okay, thank you for your time, much appreciated!

Try an AviSynth profile. If that doesn't work, please post a log of that conversion.

Okay, I'm back! Just to let you know, I am css1323.. looks like my "LiQuiD" account got verified after all!

On to business - I did the Avisynth (sp?), -async 1 deal, and still got the same problem. This is what the console looked like:

So, any idea why this mpg file doesn't wanna sync up its audio?

There should be an .avs file (AVISynth script). Could you open that file in Notepad and post the text please?

Also, if you play the .avs in Windows Media Player, does it show the problem?

Avisynth script:

DirectShowSource("I:\_-2007-_\_-1 January-_\TMF Video Yearmixes\TMF_Yearmix_1997\Tmf Video Yearmix 1997 2.mpg")

I tried playing the converted .mp4 file in WMP and Winamp, but it didn't work; however, it only plays in iTunes.

You think it's because it's such a large file.. or is it the way the file was encoded in the first place?

I say this because I tried ripping a DVD before, the Matrix to be specific, into one big file, and I had the same audio-sync problem with it.

Also, I tried converting one of my own created videos which was quite small in size. For some reason, it played perfectly.

I guess, I'll toy around with other formats and sizes for now..

Btw, thank you for your continued assistance. I'll try my best to give you as much information as possible! ;)

Try changing the AVS file to:
DirectShowSource("I:\_-2007-_\_-1 January-_\TMF Video Yearmixes\TMF_Yearmix_1997\Tmf Video Yearmix 1997 2.mpg"), fps=30, convertfps=true)

Then go to Convert -> Current Conversion and click "Convert Video"
Don't find your movie, but find the AVS file and convert that.

This seems to work often, let me know if it does or not. (Too bad sketch is gone, I think he knows more about this stuff)

A few new versions. Some videos still don't work. Life goes on, you know?

Check my thread on the 'iMod' in the Apple discussion.
