Hi there. This is agreat product. I have it up and running without any issues other than speed.

I am wired @ 100mb/full duplex on all my network machines. I set the PS3 for 100mb full as well. loading pictures takes a long time. I used video 9 to convert some video files 500+mb and it was excrutiatingly slow compared to downloading over the internet. Are there any tweaks in XP pro that may help to speed up my workstation at serving files to the PS3?

It takes time to transfer files over a computer network. Copying files from your PC to PS3 should take the same amount of time between copying files from your PC to PC.

As for video conversion taking a long time, that has nothing to do with the File Server.

I realize that and that is why I was wondering about it. I can DL files extremely fast between my wireless laptop and file server 5mb in about 15 sec. but the same 5 mb takes minutes on the PS3.
