Hi! I've converted High School Musical, and the image is perfect but I've got no sound, ugh. I also converted Nacho Libre at the same time using the same criteria, and no problems.
Is this because of the Dual Layer Format?
Please would you be able to provide some advice?

Does your DVD rip (the .VOB file on your hard drive) have sound?

My DVD Decrypter created an enormous VOB file (3,743,760 KB) and an accompanying IFO file (72 KB). How would I check if these have sound? How would i play them?

Many DVD player programs (WinDVD, etc) will open and play them. The right version of Media Player may also.

Hi All,
Yes, there's sound on the decrypted file, just not after I use Videora Ipod Converter. Why is the sound lost in the conversion?
Thanks, E

Did you use DVD Decrypter to get the VOB files to your hard drive? If so, do you remember doing anything with Stream Processing? If not, the easiest solution would be to re-rip with DVD Decrypter:
1. make sure you're in "Mode" -> "IFO"
2. select the "Stream Processing" tab on the right and click "Enable Stream Processing"
3. select the first video stream and English audio stream and uncheck everything else.
4. then copy them to your hard drive and try it again...

Also, post a console log please.

Alright, probably a copy protection problem. You might want to look at this before using Videora's converter: http://www.pspvideo9.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9278
As the output is an .mpg file, it might be a good idea to use an AVISynth profile once your ready for Videora's piece.
