if the ps3 browser supports flash, then i think it would be fairly easy for you guys to make a killer DVD Jukebox out of this thing.
from this article:

it seems that flash supports creating a dvd player.
you could then allow me a directory of movies ripped from dvd's. it could be a directory of directories with each directory having a VIDEO_TS directory in it for the dvd content. you could also have some other files in there like movie poster, description, etc. for use when browsing the movies.
the dvd jukebox interface would be a list of all the directories in the "dvd_jukebox" directory, but the list could include movie poster, movie title, description, director, etc.
