take out the ps3 hard drive and plug it into your computer with a serial ata cable.

I tried that, it screwed up my HDD and I had to re-format it after I put it back into the PS3, and even worse, I didn't manage to see what was on the HDD in the 1st place because it wasn't a readable format for a PC.

This program is designed to access the PC from the PS3, not the other way around.
