I really hate that the PS3 can't stream media out of the box.

simple fix for no colon needed
if you dont want to type http://your.ip.whatever: port you can edit the C:\Program Files\Red Kawa\File Server\webserver.prop file with notepad change ListenSocket=80
then all you have to do is type http://your.ip.whatever.number
