I was wondering if reports of bugs or unexpected behaviour would be welcome here in the forum. I presume that things are a little rushed right now, and don't want to waste anyone's time with issues that are already known, especially when development pertaining to the new PSP stuff is so very recent.
Good question; I also have a bug to submit; my video is frozen on the last 3 seconds of it, & weird artefacts appeir then. I can provide the original (1 MB) video for the author(s) to test by themselves.:)

Yes report away.
TCD:
Try using an "AviSynth" profile to convert the video.

What is the AviSynth profile anyways? I tried converting a VOB file using the AviSynth file - encoding finished in like 2 seconds but the resultant file was really small and played for only 10 seconds or so; the other profiles appear to work fine though.
Also, I really appreciate the great work that you guys have done on Video9, but it'll be even better if you can add a 480x272 2-pass profile to Video9. I never actually found out what 2-pass actually does, but I guess it removes some artefacts or something which might be "overlooked" in the first pass? Anyway, 2-pass always seems to look better than 1-pass (no shit, haha) imo.
Thx and keep up the good work guys... :)

I was also curious about the profiles marked as being Avisynth. I'm not sure I know what these are either, but when I tried to use it, the progress bar zipped to 100% in under a second, and I wound up with a tiny video file and a thumbnail.
There's some issues with the progress indicators... on some successful encodes, the progress bar reaches 100% well before the encoding process is actually complete. The estimated time remaining is likewise inaccurate when this occurs.
I would also like to see 2-pass encoding soon, but am not in a huge hurry for it. I imagine a number of things will be added and implemented before this is out of beta. I won't be re-encoding all my videos until I know that everything is more or less copacetic and stable anyway.

A few problems like when I go to convert a video using the video wizard it converts my file into a sound file and sometimes when I use it I start getting errors that the program needs to close I hope the people that created the new version can fix the problems us users are having with the newer version. Please tell me what I can do about this thanks

I tried converting a .mkv file and the file finished instantly without converting at all. Is PSP9 not meant to do convert .mkv files?

check the console log, most likely it is using an unsupported video codec.
