If there isnt a way to combine video files this should be added to the program :)
Especially when ripping chapters from vob and you want 1 file, because right now i am ripping vob to dixv then dixv to mp4 which is horrible. If anyone else has as better solution please let me know.

The program can take Mpeg as well right. so you should be able to extract the Mpegs from the VOB and then encode those with out haveing a divx middle man. Remember DVD's are mpeg2 so you can get the streams out with no conversion, and should be fast basicly bound by the IO speed of your computer.

So what is hould do is rip the dvd straight to mpeg 2, then convert the mpeg2 in ps3 video 9? i just wish this program had a combine feature, its something minor that would greatly improve it functionality.

I don't know what functions it can have, I know that it is basically a front end for a command line tool. I also don't know what program you are using to rip your dvd, or why exactly you are ripping dvd's for the ps3. Now for the PSP or Wii I can understand.

I have a 500gb external drive connected to my ps3 that i use for media storage. I back up all my movies on to this drive for easy access. I am trying to create a media center out of my ps3, so i want to create video files with the smallest size and the best quality.
