I was looking for some help converting quicktime movies as I'm unable to get them to work on the ps3. If anyone has been successful please post the settings you used to convert. Also I've been having this weird problem where only some of my windows media files convert properly, dunno if its an audio or video codec problem

Well if this helps any...
The video files that I encoded that should is supposed to be compatible with Quicktime (using Megui in all of the profiles). I was not able to get these to work on the PS3. It was recognizing it as a format that it would be unable to read (unlike some format it will not show up at all). The audio codec was recognized but not the video. I was kind of surprised that the PS3 is not able to read these Quicktime settings for x264. I have been unable to test the software here yet, but will be doing it soon.

The Quick time .Mov format at least used to be one of those Black holes (Along with .wmv and .rm) I would try to find a good guide on videohelp.com that should get you to a Divx/xvid .avi file that is easier to deal with.
The Windows media issue sounds like it might depend on what Audio and video codecs are used.
I don't know what container quicktime uses (I don't have access to pro) but the PS3 videos need to be in .mp4. there is also the profile that is used. the ps3 is limited to the main profile so that might be the issue with quicktime as well.
Also don't for get to put your videos in the right directory, or use the Triangle button to explore all so you can get into all those directory's.
