You could buy an all-in-one program for it.

If there was an easier way that worked, I wouldn't be here.

convert them one at a time? i dont get it, did you rip them from the dvd, or have them in file? if you have it from the dvd, you have to find out which .vob file is which episode. usually the 2GB files are the episode file, but to make sure, launch them up in VLC.

i don't understand what your saying, are they already in an mp4 format, or are you trying to convert in Videora?

They frequently aren't stored one episode per vob. A lot of the time, it's one long movie (chopped into typical 1G vob files) with individual chapters.

well, every dvd i have handled have them in seperate vob files. maybe if you rip them and you don't split them, they'r in one vob.

What can I say. We obviously haven't handled the same DVDs. The one IN MY HANDS right now has 5 1G vob files.

Obviously not :p

well, are the 1G vob files of each episode or just parts of the episodes?

You don't give up. No... the 5 vob files are NOT each a single episode on this 20 episode disc. Does that make sense to you?

Mike Judge Collection - Beavis & Butthead, Vol 1.

i see, well. you could split the vob's. or if the vobs are just like half an episode then use VOBMerge to merge them together then use ifoedit to make an ifo file.

you can also open the ifo's in ifoedit and find out where the episodes start and everything.

I know how to handle the situation. I wasn't asking for advice. I was dispensing it to someone else.

I can solve this problem right now.

All you need to do is download "DVD decrypter" and "Videora iPod converter" and you're set.

To see a full detailed instructional list, go to this link:

http://www.anders.com/guides/convert/video/iPod/windows.html

You can seperate each episode and catergorize them however you like. When it's all done, the episode will be stored on your iPod as if you had just downloaded the episode off of iTunes.

The entire process can take up to an hour so it can get annoying repeating the process for a disk filled with 6-8 episodes.

BTW: I found that you have to exit iTunes each time you're done converting a file onto your iPod or else it won't transfer to iTunes.

IDK why you have to do that but whenever I leave iTunes on and I try to convert a second, third, ect... episode I always get the error pop up that says the file won't transfer.

Hope this helps.:D

NYer4Life, we have already discussed that, that only works for episodes that are 1 hour long. if this guy that started the thread would say something, we might be able to help him.

that only works for episodes that are 1 hour long.

It also works for episodes that are 22-24 minutes long.

I've converted over 13 episodes from four different DVDs and they've all worked for me.
