View Full Version : Checked all threads, haven't seen this problem

I will try to describe this as specific as possible. When I try to browse for files to convert, it doesn't show most of the browsing file bar. It basically cuts out the button that says 'Browse' so I can't even click to even start browsing. From where the file name bar is, everything below that is cut out. I haven't seen this problem on any of the threads so far. I've uninstalled and reinstalled already, and I still have the same problem. Please Help ASAP, cause I need this done by a couple of days.

I can't find a button anywhere in Videora (I assume that's the "it" you refer to) that says "Browse".

Well when you find files to convert, the 'select file' button does not appear. Anything from the 'File Name' bar and down does not show.

This screenshot I took should explain it easier. Should've done this in the first place. Well Man, just don't go to sleep. I'm checking this thread about every minute, waiting to see if there's a reply, so please just don't leave on me.

How big is your monitor? What screen resolution is your computer's video display set to? Have you tried dragging the taskbar somewhere else... maybe to the left side of the screen? Not that you should have to...

Don't know. Don't know. And Don't know how.
I've never had any problems ever with my screen cutting part of programs out.
I have this game, Counter-Strike, and i recently changed the Video Resolution smaller. But it was for the game only, and didn't effect anything else.
But I put the Video Setting back to normal.
And I hide the Task Bar and the rest is still hidden, like in the screenshot.

Right Click on your desktop and select Properties. In the Settings tab, tell us what it says under "Screen Resolution"
For example, mine says "1280 by 800 pixels"
If yours is "800 by 600 pixels" or less, try to make it higher by dragging the bar to the right.

My Screen Resolution is 1152 x 864 pixels.
Should I keep messing with it even though it's bigger than 800 x 600?
I'll try your screen resolution and see if it works.

I tried to put your Resolution, but it only has 4 Possible Ones.
The one bigger isn't yours, and smaller isn't yours.
None of them are yours.

try draggin it to the left. and put your screen resolution to its biggest.

But the biggest screen resolution is to the right...

He meant to the right, yes, try that one. But I don't see how it will fix it. Is Videora taking up your whole screen?

But I shouldn't have to change the Resolution just for one program.
The resolution affects everything.
And about 5 other people use this computer, and it affects them also.
I don't want to have to change the resolution because of one program.
And Videora is taking up the whole screen, but not covering the taskbar.
I've hidden the task bar, and it still doesn't work so that's not the problem.
This again, is the screenshot I took.
It's the screenshot of EVERYTHING, even part of the Task Bar, so you see everything I see.

Well to me the program is like moved to the right a little bit, because it covers 'The Office' add, and there's a lot of extra space on the left adds, with Tomb Raider add.
And one more problem I came about.
THere are some Tabs under the 'Home' 'Convert' and 'Library' Tabs.
You can barely click them, but you can't see what is on the tab.

omg, quite whining. with a bigger screen resolution, not only do you potentially fix this problem, you have a bigger desktop and can fit more on it so your more productive.
make the videora window smaller with the restore down button at the top right corner and then take a screenshot.

I'm not going to change the settings of the whole computer for one program.
When I took the screenshot of Videora Window Smaller [got it as small as possible] only the screenshot of Videora, and not anything else came up.
(I basically took the screenshot, and the screenshot was made up of Videora only)

I already did. It's in the first post.
I just restarted my Computer, and nothing.
Just thought i'd mention that so you don't tell me to do it again.

Well, I made the resolution bigger. And it worked.
But if you guys ever find a way to have my resolution 1152 x 864 [my normal resolution] and have Videora working, let me know ASAP.

Well... you never really answered my last question. You deftly danced around it by saying your screen resolution WASN'T this... or that... but you never said what it really is. It seems irrelevant now though since you've stated an opposition to changing it.
Ah... I see my post crossed with your latest one. Glad you got it working. For what it's worth, Videora should work fine with a 1152 x 864 resolution unless you have something else enabled on your system... some accessibility option or large fonts or something.

Again, if you ever find out why it didn't work, and get an solution, please let me know.

Well to answer your last post, I did have large fonts. But I changed it to normal, and it still didn't work. So I changed it back.

but whats wrong with bigger resolutions?

How about, they're hard to read on small monitors... or with aging eyes.

I know you meant reinstall, and I had already done that.
When I said I had restarted, I meant I did it just to try it.
And my Videora is still messed up.
There are still Tabs under 'Home' 'Convert' and 'Library' tabs.
So there are tabs under tabs.
And it still cuts out some stuff on the right side of Videora.
Enough that I can still make out what it is, sometimes.
But Still, there is still something wrong with it.

The problem lies with your display settings. You're using some combination of large font setting. combined with a large or extra large Windows scheme... or something to that effect.
This is what it should look like with small fonts, on a Windows Standard scheme on Windows 2000 with a 1440x900 display resolution. Notice the difference in size in the buttons... and the amount of space between the icons at the left bottom...
