Full screen? "please help"

I have converted all my movies to "FLV" files. which went on my wii and used the internet channel? then put the ip address thing in or something. Then it worked. I can view my videos but the bar on the bottom seems to be in the way,. is there a way of minimize the buttons "back forward" home "WWW" wii menu.. thing on the bottom. many thanks! I just got a wii last week so i'm not quite sure!
