Don't have time for hand-holding. Please elaborate on what you don't understand. It also may be worth your while to ask for help on the iPod forums.

It appears to be unsupported on the ipodlinux.org site. There is a lot of information there if you're willing to take the time to read and understand it. If you're not willing, I would suggest that installing linux on an unsupported model (like the nano) might be a bit over-ambitious as there could be a lot of effort and trial-and-error involved.

Only one I can suggest is rockbox? http://www.rockbox.org/ I'm a big fan. Supports lost of different filetypes and Replaygain.
Why are you interested in hacking your iPod anyway? |
