Default Please help PSP Video 9 crashes on startup - 08-12-2007, 08:34 AM

Since I had to perform a system restore for an unrelated problem PSP video 9 now crashes on startup. Immediately before I did the system restore I had upgraded to the latest version (2.25) (but hadn't actually run the program)

As soon as it tries to load into memory I get the familiar "videora has a problem and needs to close" error message

I've tried a cold install.

I've tried rolling back to a previous version (1.74) but just get the error message "PSP video 9 has a problem and needs to close"

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can solve this issue and get the program working again?

Thanks

Try uninstalling it and then making sure the folder doesn't exist anymore by manually deleting it. Reinstall it and see if it happens again, other wise, try reinstalling .NET 2.0.

Use AlltoAVI with XVID encoder for your video to convert to AVI then use Red Kawa's PSP or PS3 video converter to finally convert your video to your console.
