Downloading vids from youtube help

When i try to download videos from youtube, in the progress bar, it says "File Not Found 404"
And i have tried to do this on multiple vids, and the same thing comes up. Help me Red kawa

That because YT has finally patched the holes that allowed you to download their content... which they strictly forbid.

ok to download youtube vids, i use a thing called Internet Download Manager

all you do is go to the page with the youtube video on it, start playing it, then on the page (not the vid) right click and go down to Download FLV Video with IDM, then go to Download last requested FLV video

this works with mostly all flash based media players on th internet
