Having problems with transfer

I recently bought a real 4G sony memory stick and wanted to slap some videos on it. I did all the steps but at the transfer stage my PSP isnt listen in the device section. So if I hit copy to device or move to device nothing happens. My PSP drive is E: if that helps at all. I also remember the device being there but it isnt anymore (yes it's plugged into USB lol) I read the stickies and couldnt seem to find anything, probably my fault

Also, if it helps when I tried out my new memory stick there werent any folders on it, so I created a PSP and in that folder I put GAMES, PHOTO and VIDEO because thats's basically all I use. Not sure if that helps or not.

Edit: Alright, so I formatted my mem stick and got the right folders and tried to manually transfer, however the item I wanted to transfer (MAQ20011, lets call it Video1) was only 6kilobytes. But Video1 was listen in my library as 600 something megabytes. And when I put it on my video folder it didnt even recognize it or show any corrupted data. So thats where I'm at right now
